Patient Portal Communication Policy

At DMV Medical Group, we are committed to maintaining the privacy and security of your health information. While the Tebra Patient Portal is a convenient tool for communication, it is not an appropriate platform for certain medical matters. For your protection, our providers do not use the patient portal for the following:

Urgent or Time-Sensitive Matters: The patient portal is not monitored in real-time and should not be used for emergencies or urgent medical concerns. If you require emergency attention, seek emergency care by calling 911 and/or going to your nearest emergency room. If you require immediate attention, please call our office directly.

Highly Sensitive Information: We do not communicate test results or other highly sensitive topics through the patient portal.

Medical Advice or Diagnoses: Providers do not provide medical care via the portal, for example, while this is not all-inclusive, we will not provide test results diagnose conditions, offer specific medical advice, or prescribe new medications via the patient portal.

Response may take up to 3 days or longer depending on the current workload
